North College Hill High School:
Our mission at North College Hill High School is to empower all students through collaboration of families and the community to enable students to reach their highest potential, to be successful every day, and to ultimately be prepared for life after high school, whether that is college, the workforce, trade school, or the military. Our administration team believes in supporting the whole child, prioritizing students’ social, emotional, cognitive, physical, psychological, and academic needs, and supporting students through creating and building positive relationships inside and outside of school and ensuring a safe learning environment. We aim to communicate effectively with students, parents, and the community to ensure all stakeholders are active participants in ensuring the success of our students. As we know, it truly takes a village to guarantee all students are successful every day. We look forward to working with each of you this school year.
About Me:
I am a proud Cincinnati native, graduating from Norwood High School. I completed my Bachelors Degree in Law with a minor in Communication from Tiffin University, where I also played soccer on athletic and academic scholarships. Although becoming a criminal defense attorney was always my dream, something kept pulling me back to my love of education and supporting students. Because of this, I completed my Masters in Education with a focus on middle childhood education from the University of Findlay. Upon completion of my degree, I moved to Tampa, Florida. While in Tampa, I taught for 11 years in both the middle school and high school settings teaching English, Reading, Social Studies, and Forensic Science. As much as I loved Tampa, it simply was not home: Cincinnati. I moved back to Cincinnati in 2018 and taught at NCH Middle School for 2 years and then moved to NCH High School for 4 years. While at NCH, I grew a love for the community, the students, and the staff (that have become a second family) and started my journey in educational leadership. I completed my second Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati in 2023. I left NCH to pursue an Assistant Principal position for the 2023-2024 school year. Although I loved that role, it simply wasn’t the same as NCH. So when the opportunity arose to return, I eagerly pursued it and am thrilled to be back.
Outside of work, I am married to a Floridian (who loathes the cold) and am a boy mom to a 16-year-old and a 3-year-old. We also have a rescue pitbull (she’s black and white) named Zoey. I love all sports and am extremely competitive in everything. I am also an avid reader and enjoy all genres. My family and I love traveling, especially to warm destinations.
